A wedding morning can become busy very quickly.
Hair and makeup are underway.
The photographer has arrived.
Family members are coming in and out.

And meanwhile, there is a wedding dress hanging in the room that still needs to be prepared.
A dedicated wardrobe professional has one clear responsibility.

I can prepare the gown, steam garments where required, organise accessories, assist with dressing, position the veil and train and carry out final checks before you leave for the ceremony.
The aim is not to add another person to an already busy room.
It is to remove responsibility from everyone else.
One of the most common assumptions is that a bridesmaid, mother or maid of honour can simply help with the dress.
Sometimes they can.
But they are also part of your wedding.
They may need to have their own hair and makeup finished, get dressed themselves, have photographs taken and support you emotionally throughout the morning.
Asking one of them to become responsible for a complicated gown, long train or multiple outfit changes can create unnecessary pressure.
The same applies to your wedding planner.
Your planner should be coordinating the wedding.
Your photographer should be photographing it.
Your family should be enjoying it.
The wardrobe can have its own specialist.
